ABOUT THIS EVENT
One of our cheerful slogans is "We are not a glum lot." We proudly declare, “We are not a glum lot; we insist upon enjoying life!” This fun-loving spirit inspired the title of our upcoming Not A Glum Lot Roundup, which will be held from July 3rd to July 6th, 2025.
Every five years, Alcoholics Anonymous World Services holds a major international convention to celebrate the founding of AA. This year, the worldwide celebration will occur in beautiful Vancouver, Canada! For those who can’t make the trip to Canada, we warmly invite you to join us in Charlotte, NC, for our local celebration.
In honor of AA's 90th Anniversary, we're throwing a fantastic celebration in Charlotte, North Carolina, for everyone staying stateside. We want this event to be filled with joy and laughter, so we are planning various exciting activities! Get ready for wonderful fellowship! Plus, we’re thrilled to have four amazing speakers, an Oldtimers' Ask It Basket Panel, and over thirty workshops throughout the weekend. We aim to blend humor with our sense of spirituality. There will also be some unique and fabulous raffle prizes.
Although this event is organized by and for AA members, we welcome Al-Anon participation. There will be two Al-Anon speakers and a couple of Al-Anon workshops. We encourage family and friends to join us as we celebrate sobriety together.
We can’t wait to see you there to have a wonderful time!
ASL interpretation for main speakers.
We respect and value anonymity.
